Training And Awareness

Safe To Call Project

The ‘Safe to Call’ project is a community initiative aimed at supporting victims of domestic abuse as well as creating greater awareness in communities of the supports that are available.

The first step to access these supports is to create a safe space where people can talk, either in person or over the phone, to services that can help. The ‘Safe to Call’ sticker is displayed in community services in different locations in Donegal where staff have undertaken training and are willing to act as a link to other support services either in Donegal or to national supports.

If you are experiencing abuse in a relationship and need help to access the support services or if you need a safe space to make a call from you can do it through any of the centres listed below. Just call in and ask to use the Safe to Call Service.
